Disability History Month (18 November – 18 December 2024) is a chance to consider the struggles of disabled people and highlight the work of those campaigning for equal rights. To mark the occasion this year, we spoke to members of the House of Lords known for their impact on disability-related laws and equal rights. WebThis year it'll take place between 16 November, to 16 December 2024. Disability History Month supported by a wide range of disability groups, unions and voluntary groups. The aim of the month is to promote the rights of people who have disabilities and their struggle for equality now as well as in the past. It has been an annual event since 2010.
