WebFeb 11, 2003 · The Fisher 500C is better known, and commands a higher price, but some here on this board who own both have stated they prefer the sound of the 400. Maybe it has to do with the shorter and simpler signal path used in the 400, the 500C has a few more controls and switchable filters. WebThese are the XL models of the A25's. Dynaco updated the A25's in 1973 (the year I believe these speakers date from) to the A25XL's with increased frequency range and better power handling.
